Odilxon Abduqodirovich Mamatkulov was born on 26 February 1988 in Izboskan District, Andijan Region. From 2005 to 2012, he studied Medical Pedagogy at Andijan State Medical Institute. In 2012, he received a bachelor’s diploma with honours in Professional Education (General Medicine), with the qualification of general practitioner-teacher.
From 2012 to 2015, he completed a master’s programme in General Oncology at Andijan State Medical Institute and received his master’s degree in 2015.
From 2014 to 2018, he worked as an on-call oncologist at the Andijan Regional Oncology Dispensary.
From 4 September 2017 to 23 January 2018, he completed a 720-hour retraining course in Operative Diagnostic Endosurgery at the Surgery-1 Department of the Tashkent Institute for Advanced Medical Training under the supervision of F.G. Nazirov.
From 2018 to 2019, he worked as an oncological surgeon in the 4th Surgical Department of the Andijan branch of RIO and RIATM; from 2019 to 2022 in the 2nd Surgical Department; and from 2022 to 2026 again in the 4th Surgical Department.
Since 2026, he has served as head of the Palliative Care Department at the Andijan branch of RIO and RIATM.
